History

The estimate is our written analysis of the extent of damage to your vehicle. The estimate
displays more than just a proposed cost for the repair. It is a blueprint that our technicians use to
replace or rehabilitate crushed sheet metal, lighting, driveline and steering components, electrical and ignition modules, frame and unibody members and, of course, refinishing, just to name a few.

Lusk Body Company uses electronic estimating systems from Mitchell UltraMate and CCC
Pathways . Both systems are recognized and accepted throughout the collision repair and
insurance industries for their accuracy and flexibility. They identify and calculate replacement
parts costs, labor operations, and the materials necessary or a full scale repair. And they can
also track the progress of the repair, compute the total cost, prepare the final bill, and print you a copy.

Moreover, our Mitchell and CCC estimating systems permit electronic transmissions of data and
images related to your vehicle's condition. Further, they provide insurance company claims
managers with written descriptions and color graphics detailing the extent of damage to the
vehicle, thus speeding up the insurance claim process to help get you and your family back on the road quickly, but safely.

When Lusk Body Company prepares an estimate based on our inspection of damage to your car
or light truck, you can be confident that the written information we present is a "real world",
no-nonsense evaluation of the repair procedure. We don't inflate estimates with gimmickry.
And we refuse to sneak in damage where damage doesn't exist.

There's something else we want to point out. Your car or truck, whichever you own, is your property. Your banker or other lender may hold the title to the vehicle if it's financed. But it still belongs to you! The reason we bring up this subject is because there are some insurance  companies who think that since they are paying most of the cost for the repair they have the right to tell you which repair shop you must use. Wrong!

You have complete freedom to designate the shop of your choice to repair the collision damage sustained by your vehicle. We hope you select Lusk Body Company when the need arises.
On the other hand, if you wish to follow the insurance company's "advice" that decision is your
choice. Just don't be intimidated or stampeded into sending your vehicle to a collision repair
shop whose name simply happens to appear on the insurance company's "approved" list.
